Our inspections serve various needs of our customers, such as rabies antibody and vaccines tests, analysis and bacteriological examination of food and clinical examinations of animals.
Rabies antibody testing of dogs and cats
We have conducted rabies antibody tests according to Import and Export Quarantine regulations for dogs and others (No. 68 of Ordinance of the Ministry of Agriculture, 1999).
RIAS is the only testing laboratory currently designated in Japan. RIAS conducts the fluorescent antibody virus neutralization test, which is one of the methods recommended by the Office International des Epizooties (OIE).
Rabies antibody test certificate of the Institute has been recognized in many countries such as EU, the United States of America, and Taiwan.
Food inspection
We conduct residue testing of pharmaceuticals for animals used for livestock and marine products, microbiology analysis, DNA diagnosis of black pigs.
Clinical laboratory tests
We perform clinical examinations of dogs, cats, and livestock.
Quality control testing
We conduct quality control testing as the third-party inspection facility for animal drug manufacturer in conformity to GMP Ministerial Ordinance.
